Belladonna question

Post  AstroTheDog on Wed May 05, 2010 10:44 pm

friend took belladonna. reported small left sided problems in throat then (5 hours later) much larger right sided complaints in sinuses.

is this consistant with belladonna.

is it more right or left?

According to the list, Belladonna is more left-sided. I think this person is probably needing another remedy. what time was the right-sided aggravation?

I look at the list compiled by Von Boenninghausen. Found in the back of Boericke MM.
"the sides of the body and drug affinities"
From the time of the start of the throat, I would say the person is a Lycopodium constitution.
Aggravation time 4-8 pm. Also the time of onset of symptoms in any case of disease they may suffer from.

this is interesting, but how certain are you that you can predict the constitutional remedy based on when an aggravation starts.

suppose the person had taken the remedy at 8AM do you still think the aggravation would only start during the time frame of 4-8PM?

Yes. Because Belladonna does not have the same time frame for aggravation. Bell aggravates just after midday or noon.

Your indication of the throat and right sidedness points to Lycopodium.

Each constitution will aggravate at its own time.

If you gave the Belladonna at 8am and the constitution was a Nat.mur, he would have aggravated at 11am.

That simply shows Belladonna was not the indicated remedy
